Private Highschool, Kolhapur

The school was established on 11 th  June 1883 by Vibhute Guruji i.e. Ramchandra Narsinha Kulkarni , who was immensely inspired by the thoughts of  Bal Gangadhar Tilak,  Gopal Ganesh Agarkar and many others. Based on their principles and ideals, Guruji started his own private school to educate the younger generation of British-ruled India. Thus, it was named as "Private High School."  Lokmanya Tilak visited the school in year 1900–01.
         The School completed "Shatabdi  Mahotsava" - centenary in 1985–86 and celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2009. Private High school is one of the best schools in Kolhapur city. Private High School has its own identity in the field of music, art, dance, drama, science, sports and academic activities. Private High School has big tradition & identity of merit! Many students of this school have become masters in various fields.
         The school started as the  Marathi medium school. Today, it offers education in  English and semi-English medium as well.  Private High-School is being managed by Private Education Society. The school is up to 10th standard in Marathi and Semi-English medium. The school comes under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Kolhapur division.

Tavnappa Patane Highschool, Kolhapur

Tavnappaa Patane highschool, Kolhapur, is one of the renowned schools of Private Education Society in Rajarampuri. It is established in June 1961. Firstly it was named as Private Highschool Branch, Rajarampuri. Well known astrologer Naryanshastri Puranik Ashtekar rented his own building for school and helped to overcome  the difficulty.  Dept. of Education approved the school, thus the school was started on 11 th June 1961. Later Private Education Society purchased the building from Dr. Deshpande and the classes were started in its own building.
         In 1969 Former President of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation, Ex. student of Private Highschool Mr. Shantinath patane  gave a donation and the school was named as Tavnappa Patane Highschool,  in the memory of his father.
  Tavnappa Patane High School has its own identity in the field of education, art, drama, science, sports and academic activities. School has a big tradition & identity of merit!

Nutan Marathi Highschool, Kolhapur

Kolhapur is the city of several selfless educationists. Late S. D. Chikoddikar is one of them. He started a primary school named Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya in 1920. Later in 1943, with the inspiration of educationists J. P. Naik the school was consigned the school to the Nutan Marathi Shikshan Mandal. In 1960 the school was started in Vitthal Mandir, a building of Shaligram Trust.
           Nutan Marathi Highschool was handed over to Private Education Society as It had been warmth relation and the attachment with The Private Education Society.  The school celebrated its Golden Jubilee.

Chandulal Godidas Shah Balmandir

Chandulal Godidas Shah Balmandir is one of the renounced and creative ‘Child Developing Centres’, organized by The Private Education Society. In 1976 it was established as Ganesh Balmandir. The aim and motto was to enable the child to develop various skills, to create ability to learn.
Later in 1981 Businessmen and ex. students of Private Highschool. Mr. Bhupendra Shah and his Brother Hasmukhbhai shah donated the Institute and the school was named as Chandulal Godidas Shah Balmandir in the memory of their father.
The Balmandir arranges various activities like celebration of festivals, Get together of grandparents, other cultural activities to create attitude of brotherhood. Teachers work as the facilitators with their kind and warmth treatment.

Shelaji Vanaji Sanghavi Vidyalaya

The previous name of this primary school was Ganesh Prasadik Vidyalaya. Late Mahadev Agnihotri with his two assistant established it in June 1935. The economic condition of the school was not sound but gradually it became well known school in Kolhapur. To give it permanent status the school was handed over to Private Education Society in 1959.
On the occasion of Diamond Jubilee of this school in march 1981 Mr. Babubhai Sanghavi Donated the school and the school was renamed as “Shelaji Vanaji Sanghavi Vidyalaya.
Today the school offers education up to 4 th standard. The school has its own identity in the field of  education, competations, sports and academic activities. School has a big tradition & identity of merit!

Adv. P. R. MUNDARAGI  PRIMARY ENGLISH SCHOOL & PRIVATE ENGLISH SCHOOL

Noticing the need of an English medium school, the Private Education Society Started Adv. P. R. Mundaragi  Primary English School in 1999. In the Maharashtra Government’s rating the school bagged 78% marks – this is enough to speak about its standard. To earn money is never the aim of the Private Education Society and hence our English medium schools have the lowest fee Structure in the Kolhapur district. With no publicity, these schools have sufficient Strength if more rooms provided, the strength is sure to be doubled. Every year 100% result in the S.S.C. Exam and 6 – 7 days tours, with 50% rail concession are the added attraction.  Hence it’s called "A school with rich legacy." By this time 7 students are entitled for sports scholarship of the central Govt.

Private Education Society started Private High School & Jr. College ,Science wing for bright future of the students. It was established in 2009-10. The college is situated in the heart of the city. Recognization has been given for two divisions of science for each standard. Our college provide bifocal computer science subject for scoring. Computer science subject is useful for the students to built carrier in computer programming. Our computers are joined by client- server system. Internet facility, inverter is available.
